Interesting.... I like it. :P

a little repetitive at times, mostly due to just using bass patterns over and over again, which can be easily remedied by having the pattern change keys or even just octaves. the beginning of this song is good (about the first minute) Then the second minute is repetitive, but thankfully the piano comes in and does some VERY nice things. at 2:30ish things come back together, and it all flows nicely. Good solid beat the whole time.

But after that, again, it just does the same thing untill it ends, and speaking of the end, it's KILLING me. I want it to do something else so much more, but it just kind of stops, and then has that one note. I see what you're kind of going for, but keep in mind if you have something in like, the last two seconds of a song, it's going to be RIGHT before whatever the next song played is, which could it itself if it loops, and it doesn't sound like what you probably want.

just a few arrangement suggestions, other than that a very good song. I'm not sold on the title though, it doesn't really fit the style.

Nice an' fast

I liked a lot of the varying levels of pretty much everything in this piece. Good Intro! could've used better kicks maybe. remember, FPCs are your friends. download them. use them. make beautiful music. or at least percussion. I'm loving what you're doing with the leads and the break things like at :46ish. and 1:02.

This is what I would mean by a dynamic piece that goes places and does things.

The outro is wicked sick.

4.5/5 methinks I'll round up, because I'm feeling generous :P

Interesting

a bit too repetetive. the beginning sort of turned be off, because it was too loud, and you could've picked better voices for both the kick and the bass. but once the more techno things came in, it got more fun to listen to. the lead that came in at :52 annoyed me so much, because I kept expecting it to go up or down, and start some kind of actual chord progression. alas, it just did what it did and left, and then some more interesting trance things happened. the break at 1:28 is good, but again, the pattern goes nowhere.

the outro was much better. and this had some good beat and trance style ideas, but as far as the actual melody.... *cough*

promising, but a little rough around the edges.

the Intro is... less of an intro and more of a "hey look, it's an acidy pattern". but if you ignore how you got there, it's a good pattern, and then the piano comes on to it well. the Percussion is very good.

It gets a liiiittle bit repetitive at times, around 1:30 before the synth lead comes in. sometimes you just have to shorten the "break" periods.

it's a nice piece, but it doesnt'r eally go anywhere. you have the "intro" the perc coming in, then the piano, then it leaves, then the synth, and then it just fades out (which could've been done better. how'd you make it fade? I suggest just putting the mp3 into a program like Audacity and then just using that to fade out)

all in all it could've been more dynamic, but the good beats and piano/synth riffs are there. and longer can be better, just not too long :P

regretting to give it only a 3/5,

Yeah, I put 'er into Audacity to do the fade. I agree with you, I could have done better for that. There's a couple things I'd like to fix, which means this might get re-uploaded some time in the near future. Thanks for reviewing!

Useful, but too long

It's very good, and I know I'll be able to use this for meditation. But it's just waaaaaaay too much of the same thing for way too long stretches.

And ultimately, it doesn't go anywhere as a song. for meditation stuff it'd be perfect, but It's not something I'd put on my mp3 player.

4/5 (lowering your score, by .0031 lol)

~Qwerty

well the percussion is good.

when the real perc came in, I was like "that is UNGODLY" while it's not really, it is pretty good and surprises ya.

over-drive and reeverb? ya think?

sheesh man.

Eerier, this time around

but I think it's for the best... it's mostly the new string voices you're using. sounds like... going into something along the same lines as "Marching into Deaths Grips" but, less millitary, more solitary, and more fantasy/existential.

Very good beats.

it gets a bit repetitive, but the main beats and bass are solid, so it's not really painful or anything. there's an odd voice at the end and begining, which might be going on the whole song, but it's hardly audible for most of it, and it seems out of place at the end...

other than that, most of the riffs are really good, but I don't quite understand why you put it in miscellaneous. it seems like a pretty solid Dance or Drum N Bass song.

what program(s) are you using to make this? If I had to guess, I'd say Fruity Loops, because I think I Recognize the slayer and Bass Punch.

4/5, very good and enjoyable, but could defintiely be improved.

~Qwerty

good, but clarity still needs work.

perhaps record the music and lyrics seperately, and then track them together, so you can have it louder and make sure you're singing your best.

also, I think you should increase the pitch like you used to. It's a good sort of, signature thing.

~Qwerty

pretty good.

it could use some variation, maybe some cresendoing action or something...

what's this made with? it doesn't sound like Epica stuff.

I make cool Music with FL8. sometimes it's more classical, sometimes it's more industrial. Go figure. No, actually, go listen to it and review it!
