zomgsecks.

the guitar in that is brilliant. the lyrics are as well...

but the eins zwei drei and such at the end was like.... eeeh...

for what it mostly is though, its brilliant.

also, whatever Tievskish did with the guitar at the end was just uber sexy.

lolsecks. I like girls too.

actually pretty nice. perhaips its just the notes, and not actually the lyrics... but um, yeah. maybe it goes places?

HIT IT is a nice touch.

Who is that playing the organ in the begining?

I must know.

if you really think about it, this song is really deep. It speaks to me... I mean, sure, you can hear its about a homely lady, but deeper than that... its like, if you read between the lines, study the lyrics, and really know the context behind it all, it just... so mindblowing.

lolsecks. yay for reviewing our own work and semi-mulitple accounts.

that's me doing the organ in the begining, and the backup "vocals", if they can be called that. I also came up with the 'you don't look very nice/jesus christ' rhyme scheme. yay for me.

ICH BIN DAS PIANO PLAYOR!

for t3h band.

of ToR.

which is sexy

but really bad at making music.

ENJOY!

I didn't like so much

drums were nice, but I didn't think they really fit the song. I don't think the 'Sega' vocals fit either. and I was really hoping it'd get less distant and kinda come at me more like the original. it seemed to be building up. like the reverse crash or whatever was... have that then go right into something louder like Silence II... that'd been great. like doors opening to bring the sound in more.

but, whatever. I really like the theme/melody, but I just don't particularly like this song. I probably don't like PrinceG's style or whatever.

It seems like many people don't like PrinceG's music :P

Anyways,

Thanks for the time to review and vote

quieter percussion!!!

I could see this as being in an animation, and suppose it would be a Hell's Army Marching towards something, but as a song itself, the percussion is way too loud in comparison to the other stuff, and again, the kick is pretty bland. also, because of the particular instrument used for the last part, it dosne't loop very well. you could've either set the ending to a later point, or chosena different instrument for the ending.

again, don't be discouraged, I review EVERYTHING.

not bad, not great either

I would stay as far away as possible from the default kicks/hihats/snare/and claps. although the last three aren't that bad, make sure you use some others in the track for variety. the kick, unless you really want it for some kind of effect or mood, should never be used.theres much more realistic sounding percussion in Realdrumkits, HipHop, and other such folders.

I like the Drumroll, although its kind of too much contrast with the main instrument. I do like the varying sound level, but again, the kick is just horrible, so its more annoying than good.

now don't be discouraged by this review, I'm being fairly critical, but you're probably better than me, and have certainly improved since this.

I'm listening and possibly reviewing from bottom to top (i'll review all eventually), and I'm looking forward to the remix/remake of this.

intro is a bit... loud.

not like, volume loud, but like gaaaaaaaah.... I definitely see the Final Fantasy-esquisity in the trumpets. ends entirely too abrupty.

I'd have the first notes be a bit longer, and have it really build up into something faster with the trumpets. the notes in the begingin sound like they should be slower to me, but are good to transition into the more final-fantasy-esque and 'faster' part.

Thanks a lot for the awesome review. I'll definately keep the tips in mind for my next orchestral tune.

hah, wow, at frist I thought it was one loop...

butit was really you looping yourself, then just cut off... didn't loop that well with the playing over again, but it is pretty hardcore....

or something.

speedmetalmessiah responds:

Yeah this is pretty shitty quality but I do still kindof like the riff haha. Thanks for the review.

Drums were... scarce

I suppose it kinda worked. the Drums being so clear and scarce was an almost annoying contrast with the distorted guitar. But the riffs themselves are good.

I was annoyed, 'cause it ends like, RIGHT as the drums kind of become more regular. or something.

speedmetalmessiah responds:

Yeah I wasn't sure what the hell I was doing when I made this. It was my first time recording and I really had no clue what to do. Thanks for the reviews Qwertyuiopasd.

awesome rock (not really dance) song.

I really like the drums you use for this!

whoever did the bass is extremely sexy, just for being able to produce that sound.

I can hear distorts easily if I try, but I don't reeeaaaly try to. it shatters the illusion.

I'll check out speedmetalmessiahs music next... from what I've heard here and I heard in this one game (territory WAR or something) I think I'll like what I see.

I make cool Music with FL8. sometimes it's more classical, sometimes it's more industrial. Go figure. No, actually, go listen to it and review it!
